In large water conservancy projects, because vertical multistage long-shaft pumps need to run continuously for a long time, the oil lubrication system has become the first choice due to its circulating lubrication and strong heat dissipation capabilities.

The grease lubrication device has a relatively simple structure and is suitable for occasions with high requirements for maintenance convenience and relatively stable operating conditions. It mainly adds lubricating grease to bearings and other parts regularly, forming a lubricating film on the bearing surface to isolate the friction surface and reduce friction. Although the lubrication effect and heat dissipation capacity of grease lubrication are relatively weaker than oil lubrication, it is easy to maintain and does not require complex pipelines and equipment. Only regular replenishment of lubricating grease is needed, and it is widely used in small agricultural irrigation pumps.
