Tracing the Red Footsteps, Uniting as One to Forge Ahead
Tracing the Red Footsteps, Uniting as One to Forge Ahead
In the warm early summer breeze, as all things flourish, on May 30—on the eve of Children’s Day—Changsha Zoomlion Pump Industry Co., Ltd. organized a red‑education outreach activity under the theme “Tracing the Red Footsteps, Uniting Hearts and Striving Forward.” The initiative sought to imbue young hearts with the spirit of the revolution and nurture their original aspirations, empowering their growth and forging their ideals through remembrance of those heroic years and the continued inheritance of the red legacy.
The century-long history of the Party is both magnificent and tumultuous, with revolutionary forces enduring through the ages. The red footprints are not only witnesses to history but also a treasure trove of spirit; every inch of revolutionary soil and every stirring chapter of the past holds within it an immense revolutionary strength—marked by the courage to overcome obstacles, unwavering loyalty to the nation, and selfless dedication. Centered on the theme of “Uncovering Revolutionary Strength,” this event breaks away from conventional lecture formats, guiding participants beyond the pages of textbooks to trace the roots of history, immersing them in the warmth of those revolutionary years and offering a profound exploration of the very essence of the revolutionary spirit. In doing so, it brings the distant past to life, making it tangible and relatable, while embedding the precious legacy of revolutionary strength deep in people’s hearts and empowering personal growth.
01 Red-themed study tours: an immersive experience to reflect on our original aspirations.
Our first stop on the journey takes us to a 3A‑rated red‑tourism site, where we embark on a heartfelt educational tour steeped in revolutionary history. We step into the former residences of Xu Guangda and Huang Xing, as well as the Memorial Hall of Figures from the Xinhai Revolution, pausing to reflect and savor each moment.
One stirring chapter after another of revolutionary history, and one heroic tale after another that moves the heart, gradually unfurl the grand tapestry of a century of struggle. From the unwavering devotion of our revolutionary forebears—braving peril and fighting with blood and courage—to the sense of duty and responsibility for country and people shown by those who put the greater good above their own families; from the indomitable spirit that rises in the face of despair to the tenacious drive to forge ahead amid adversity—this profound and mighty revolutionary force permeates every comrade in every way.
Everyone gained insight into history through walking and drew strength from listening. Not only did they relax body and mind, but they also underwent a profound “red” education. The indomitable spirit of our forebears will continue to inspire us in our future work, urging us to boldly forge ahead, strive with determination, and lead the way!
02 Enjoy a stroll through the garden and breathe in the fresh air, immersing yourself in the joys of rural farming.
Leaving behind the red‑themed memorial site, we headed to an eco‑farm near the museum and plunged straight into nature’s lush greenery!
The entire vegetable garden is lush and teeming with life, its fresh, seasonal produce thriving beautifully—everywhere you look, it’s a soothing pastoral scene. Escape the city’s fast‑paced hustle and bustle, step right into the fields, and let the gentle breeze carry the earthy scent of grass and plants; the atmosphere is pure bliss.
Adults and children stroll together through the vegetable garden, carefully selecting and hand‑picking produce, savoring the fresh flavors that travel straight from field to table. By harvesting organic vegetables with their own hands, they experience the joy and soothing charm of farming, immersing themselves in nature and letting body and mind unwind. As they pick and chat, they discover the sheer delight of a bountiful harvest, shedding the weariness of work and fully embracing the leisurely, unhurried rhythm of rural life.
03 Outdoor cooking under the open sky, unlocking the authentic flavors of everyday life.
The most anticipated highlight has to be the DIY wood‑fire outdoor cooking! Marketing pros who usually juggle proposals and client briefs are all transformed into culinary masters for the day.
Lighting the fire, washing the vegetables, chopping them, and tending the stove—each task was clearly assigned, and everyone worked in perfect harmony, creating a scene that was both lively and warm. The wood crackled softly, and the aroma of the meal filled the air. There were no assembly-line dishes from a fancy restaurant—only the authentic, home‑cooked flavors made with love.
Each table laden with steaming dishes holds the purest kind of joy and brings people closer together. These lively, down‑to‑earth outdoor cooking sessions let everyone unwind through hands‑on participation, while laughter and cheerful chatter nurture a sense of camaraderie—truly healing and heartwarming!
04 Outdoor fishing: savor the joys of a slower pace of life
The farm’s pond boasts crystal-clear, tranquil waters and an exquisitely serene setting, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque scenery—truly a natural angling paradise. Free from the hustle and bustle of city traffic, it offers only the gentle caress of a breeze and the soft ripple of water, creating an atmosphere that’s utterly immersive—a perfect haven for relaxation and stress relief.
People gathered in small groups, fishing rods in hand, settling down to patiently wait for a bite. The marketing elites who usually charge ahead with relentless energy to meet their targets now slow down, savoring the simple pleasure of angling and taking time to appreciate life’s quiet joys. Their family members and children watched nearby, playing and laughing, occasionally cheering as a fish was reeled in, their cheerful voices echoing all around. With rod in hand, line taut, and mind at ease, they shed their fatigue through leisurely fishing, returning home brimming with contentment and delight.
05 A Fun-Filled Carnival: A Playground Just for Kids
The real highlight of this outing was the little ones who came along! The company went above and beyond, offering an extensive array of children’s activities to ensure a whole day of playful fun.
Tree-top trampolines, fun slides, a dreamy indoor play structure, Instagram‑worthy swings, and jungle‑themed obstacle courses—plenty of non‑motorized attractions for endless, carefree fun. Plus, there are special activities like adorable pet interactions, joyful fish‑catching, and playful shrimp‑fishing, letting kids lose themselves in pure, immersive play.
Running, jumping, playing, and exploring—children let their natural spirits soar, filling their hearts with joy and treasuring every carefree moment!
