Carrying forward the spirit of the Long March, young entrepreneurs forge ahead with courage and determination! The Party branch of the Furong District Young Entrepreneurs Association held a red-themed Party Day event.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victorious Long March of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army. Over nine decades of trials and tribulations, the spirit of the Long March has remained a blazing torch, traversing the river of time and continuing to inspire future generations to stay true to their original aspirations and forge ahead with courage. To deepen understanding of and draw inspiration from the Long March spirit, carry forward the red legacy, and rally the pioneering spirit of young entrepreneurs, on October 22, the Party branch of the Furong District Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce organized a delegation of Party members to visit the Changsha History Museum of the Communist Party of China, where they held a themed Party Day activity titled “Reflecting on the Great Spirit of the Long March and Shouldering the Mission of Youth in the New Era.”

Luo Yihua, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the F蓉 District Federation of Industry and Commerce, Li Mingzhe, President of the F蓉 District Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce, Liu Fei, Secretary of the Chamber’s Party Branch and Vice Chairman, along with more than twenty Party-member representatives, jointly participated in this red-themed study tour.

Following in the footsteps of the Red Army, participants paused at the Mao Zedong Poetry Corridor and the Chairman Mao Bronze Statue Square, then carefully toured the special exhibition “A Long and Arduous Road: The Long March in Numbers.” Behind each string of figures lie vivid recollections of heroic battles; every historical record brings to life the daunting challenges and enduring glory of the Long March. Afterwards, they visited the former site of the CPC Xiang District Committee (Qingshuitang), retracing the struggles of Hunan’s revolutionary pioneers and revisiting their unwavering commitment to founding the Party and saving the nation. Through immersive, on‑site learning, they strengthened their Party spirit and purified their thoughts.

Following the on-site visit and study session, participants gathered for a roundtable discussion. Drawing on their respective business experiences and Party membership, they shared their insights, engaging in in-depth exchanges around such topics as carrying forward the Long March spirit, leveraging the exemplary role of Party members, strengthening Party building within the chamber of commerce, and supporting the real economy in enhancing quality and efficiency, thereby pooling collective efforts for development.

During the exchange, a young representative from Zhonglian Pump Industry remarked that the Long March spirit is not merely a spiritual legacy etched in history; it is also a practical guide for industrialists as they tackle challenges and overcome obstacles. Looking ahead, the company will integrate the Long March spirit—characterized by resilience, tenacity, and unwavering dedication—into every stage of its production and operations, deepen its expertise in equipment manufacturing, and remain committed to the ideal of serving the nation through industry. Working hand in hand with young entrepreneurs in Furong District, the company will shoulder its responsibilities as youth leaders, stay focused on its core business, strive for excellence through concrete action, and inject youthful energy into the region’s economic development.
