Preparations Before Starting the Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Pipeline Pump
1. Verify that the motor rotation direction is correct: when viewed from the top of the motor toward the pump, the rotation should be clockwise. The test duration should be brief to avoid dry friction and wear on the mechanical seal.
2. Open the exhaust valve to allow liquid to fill the entire pump body; once full, close the exhaust valve.
3. Check whether each part is functioning normally.
4. Manually turn the pump to allow lubricant to enter the mechanical seal faces.

5. The high-temperature stainless steel explosion-proof pipeline pump should be preheated first, with a heating rate of 50℃ per hour, to ensure uniform heating of all components.

Start

1. Fully open the inlet valve.
2. Close the discharge pipeline valve.
3. Start the motor and observe whether the pump is operating correctly.
4. Adjust the opening of the outlet valve to achieve the desired operating conditions. If the user has installed a flow meter or pressure gauge at the pump outlet, adjust the outlet valve opening so that the pump operates at the rated point specified in the performance parameter table. Similarly, if the user has installed a flow meter or pressure gauge at the pump outlet, adjust the outlet valve opening and monitor the pump’s motor current to ensure that the motor operates within its rated current range. Otherwise, the pump may run under overload conditions (i.e., with excessive current), potentially causing the motor to burn out. The appropriate opening degree of the adjusted outlet valve depends on both the size of the valve and the pipeline operating conditions.
5. Check the shaft seal for leaks; under normal conditions, mechanical seal leakage should be less than 3 drops per minute.
Check that the temperature rise at the motor and bearing locations is ≤70°C.

Parking
1. For high-temperature models, first reduce the temperature gradually, decreasing it by less than 10°C per minute. Only after lowering the temperature below 80°C can you stop the machine.
2. Close the discharge pipeline valve.
3. Stop the motor.

4. Close the inlet valve.
5. If the pump is to be parked for an extended period, the liquid inside the pump should be drained completely.

Special Notes for Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Pipeline Pumps
Pumps with a capacity of 7.5 kW or less can be directly installed on the foundation with vibration-isolating pads.
For models above 7.5 kW, installation can be directly on a cast-in-place foundation, or alternatively, the IS connection plate provided by our company can be used in conjunction with vibration isolators. The installation method for the vibration isolators is identical to that of the vibration isolators supplied with ISG pumps; the dimensions of these vibration isolators are the same as those for pumps of the same specifications listed in the ISG pump series.
