200LC-23A×2-LH
200——The pump outlet diameter is 200 mm.
LC—Vertical Long-Shaft Pump
23—When the impeller is not cut, the single-stage design head of the pump is 23 m (total pump head = single-stage head × number of impeller stages).
A—Impeller outer diameter cutting code
×2—The impeller has 2 stages (omitted when the stage count is 1).
L Submerged depth (Lw40m, unit: m)
H—Pump with protective casing (omitted if no protective casing is used).
Note: The model formats for 100-caliber and 150-caliber pumps are as follows: 100LC50-20Ax2-L and 150LC140-15Ax2-L, where 50 and 140 represent the pump’s design-point flow rate. For vertical long-shaft pumps with calibers ranging from 200 to 1000, the model formats do not include flow-rate parameters.
· Structural features of vertical long-shaft pumps
The LC vertical long-shaft pump features a suction port that points vertically downward and an outlet that is horizontal. It can be started without requiring vacuum priming, and it is installed on a single foundation. The pump and motor are directly coupled, resulting in a small footprint for the foundation. When viewed from the motor end, the pump rotor assembly rotates counterclockwise. Its main structural features include:
1. The design has been optimized using hydraulic design software, delivering superior performance and fully accounting for the wear resistance of the impeller and guide vanes, thereby significantly extending the service life of components such as the impeller and guide vanes. The product operates smoothly, safely and reliably, and is highly efficient and energy-saving.
2. The pump inlet is equipped with a filter screen of appropriately sized openings, which effectively prevents large particulate impurities from entering the pump and causing damage, while at the same time minimizing inlet losses and maximizing pump efficiency.
3. The impeller uses balance holes to counterbalance axial forces. Both the front and rear cover plates of the impeller are equipped with replaceable sealing rings, which protect the impeller and guide vanes.
4. The pump rotor assembly includes components such as the impeller, impeller shaft, intermediate shaft, upper shaft, coupling, and adjusting nut.
5. The intermediate shaft, lift pipe, and protective casing of the pump are multi-section; the shaft is connected using either a threaded coupling or a sleeve coupling. The number of lift pipes can be increased or decreased according to user requirements, making the pump suitable for different submersible depths. The impeller and guide vanes can be either single-stage or multi-stage, catering to varying head requirements.
6. The length of each individual shaft is reasonable and its stiffness is sufficient.
7. The pump’s lift pipes are connected by flanges, and each pair of adjacent lift pipes is equipped with a guide bearing housing. Both the guide bearing housing and the guide vane housing are fitted with guide bearings made of polytetrafluoroethylene, ceramic, or nitrile rubber. The guard pipe is used to protect the shaft and the guide bearings. When pumping clear water, the guard pipe can be removed, and the guide bearings do not require external cooling and lubrication water. However, when pumping sewage, the guard pipe must be installed, and the guide bearings must be supplied with external cooling and lubrication water (the pump is equipped with a self-closing sealing system; after the pump stops, this self-closing sealing system prevents sewage from entering the guide bearings).
8. The residual axial force of the pump and the weight of the rotor components can be borne either by the thrust bearing housed within the motor base or by a motor equipped with a thrust bearing. The thrust bearing can be lubricated with grease (also known as dry-lubrication) or with oil (also known as thin-oil lubrication).
9. The pump’s shaft seal is a packing seal, and replaceable shaft sleeves are installed at both the shaft seal and the guide bearing to protect the shaft. The axial position of the impeller can be easily adjusted by means of the adjusting nut located either on the upper end of the thrust bearing assembly or within the pump coupling.

Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
