Application of QW-type submersible sewage pump

The QW-type submersible sewage pump is widely applicable to municipal engineering, building construction, industrial wastewater discharge, environmental protection and sewage treatment, as well as wastewater treatment in factories and mines. It can convey sewage, wastewater, and rainwater containing solid particles and long fibers—including slurry containing pulp, wood chips, starch, silt, gravel, short fibers, and other debris—as well as sewage with solid particles, waste materials, and fecal matter. It is also suitable for clean water and media with mild corrosivity. This pump is an ideal tool for water supply and drainage in industrial, agricultural, urban, and construction sectors. In particular, the non-clogging sewage pump can handle impurities in liquids with a specific gravity of up to approximately 25% and particle diameters of up to 18 mm without clogging or entanglement.

Product Features of QW Type Sewage Submersible Pump
1. Adopting a unique single- or double-blade impeller design significantly enhances the pump’s ability to pass through debris, allowing it to effectively handle fibrous materials up to five times the diameter of the pump’s inlet and solid particles with diameters approximately 50% of the pump’s inlet diameter.
2. The mechanical seal is made of a new type of hard, corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide material, and the sealing design has been upgraded to a double-end-face seal. This allows the pump to operate continuously and safely in an oil-filled chamber for over 8,000 hours.
3. The overall structure is compact, small in size, low-noise, and boasts significant energy-saving performance. It’s easy to maintain and doesn’t require a pump room—simply submerge it in water to start operating, greatly reducing project costs.
4. The submersible pump is equipped with a high-precision, anti-interference leak-detection sensor in the sealed oil chamber, and thermally sensitive components are pre-embedded within the stator windings, providing absolute protection for the pump motor.
5. A fully automatic safety protection control cabinet can be equipped according to user requirements, providing absolute protection against pump leakage, electrical leakage, overload, and overheating, thereby enhancing the product’s safety and reliability.
6. The float switch can automatically control the pump’s start and stop according to changes in the required liquid level, eliminating the need for dedicated personnel to monitor it and making it extremely convenient to use.
7. A dual-rail automatic coupling installation system can be equipped according to user needs, providing great convenience for installation and maintenance and eliminating the need for personnel to enter the sewage pit for these tasks.
8. It can be used across the entire head range without causing the motor to overload.

Operating Conditions for QW Type Submersible Sewage Pump

1. The medium temperature must not exceed 60°C, with a specific gravity ranging from 1.0 to 1.3 kg/dm³ and a pH value between 5 and 9.

2. For pumps without an internal self-flow circulation cooling system, the motor portion must not extend above 1/3 of the liquid level.

3. In general, the pump must be operated within its rated head range to ensure that the motor is not overloaded. If operation across the entire head range is required, this should be explicitly noted at the time of order placement so that the manufacturer can take it into account during production.

4. During operation, the pump motor current must not exceed the motor’s rated current.

5. During operation, the product must be fully submerged in water, but the maximum submergence depth shall not exceed 10 meters.

Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.

What information should I provide when requesting a quote?

Generally, to obtain an accurate quotation, we recommend providing us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage and frequency, temperature, pH value, and solid particle content of the fluid being conveyed, and on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), etc.

Why is it so slow to get a price quote?

Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard customized products with many models, the price range is also very large. Even for the same model, the price difference is also very large due to different materials and configurations. Taking the most common water pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller.
