Product Overview

The XBD-L vertical in-line fire pump is a new-generation in-line fire pressure stabilization pump designed and developed by Zhonglian Pump Industry, a fire pump manufacturer, in accordance with the latest fire pump standards and mandatory certification requirements for fire-fighting products. Its performance and technical specifications meet the requirements of the national standard GB 6245, "Fire Pumps." It can be widely used to supply water to fire protection systems in industrial and civil buildings, including fire hydrant extinguishing systems and automatic sprinkler systems.

1. High efficiency and energy savings: By employing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze and calculate the relationship between pressure distribution and velocity distribution within the pump, and by optimizing the pump’s flow passage design, we ensure that the pump features an efficient hydraulic profile, thereby enhancing its overall efficiency.

2. Convenient installation and maintenance: With a vertical pipeline structure, the pump’s inlet and outlet can be installed at any position and in any direction along the pipeline, just like valves, making installation and maintenance extremely convenient.

3. Smooth operation and high reliability: The motor is directly connected to the pump, simplifying the intermediate transmission structure and enhancing operational stability, ensuring that the unit runs smoothly and reliably.

4. Stainless Steel Sleeve: The shaft’s mechanical seal location is relatively prone to rusting. Once the directly coupled pump shaft becomes rusted, it can easily lead to mechanical seal failure. By using a fitted stainless steel sleeve at this location, we can prevent rusting, extend the shaft’s service life, and reduce operation and maintenance costs.

5. Bearings: For motors equipped with Y (Y2) 280 and smaller, the bearings at the shaft extension end—including those at the fan blade end for motors rated Y180 and smaller—are sealed bearings. Under normal operating conditions, these motor bearings require no maintenance or servicing.

6. Mechanical Seal: The basic component of the mechanical seal typically adopts a rubber bellows structure, replacing the conventional line sealing provided by O-rings in traditional mechanical seals with a two-surface sealing configuration using rubber components, thereby enhancing the sealing performance.

Installation Instructions for the XBD-L Vertical Pipeline Fire Pressure Stabilizing Pump:

The XBD-L fire-fighting pressure stabilization unit consists of two main components: an electric motor and a pump. The pump and motor are mounted on the same shaft. The pump’s structure includes the pump body, impeller, pump cover, mechanical seal, and other components. The pump’s inlet and outlet are located on the same horizontal axis and have identical port sizes, making installation and removal extremely convenient and minimizing the equipment’s footprint. The pump is equipped with an installation base for easy mounting and to enhance operational stability. The pump employs a mechanical seal, which offers reliable sealing performance and zero leakage. Axial forces in the pump are balanced by balance rings installed on the impeller. The pump’s inlet and outlet flanges are designed to withstand a pressure of 1.6 MPa, ensuring convenient pipeline integration.

Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.

What information should I provide when requesting a quote?

Generally, to obtain an accurate quotation, we recommend providing us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage and frequency, temperature, pH value, and solid particle content of the fluid being conveyed, and on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), etc.
