The DF-type stainless steel corrosion-resistant chemical pump is a horizontal, single-suction, multistage, sectional/segmented corrosion-resistant centrifugal chemical pump suitable for conveying corrosion-resistant liquids free of solid particles. The temperature of the conveyed medium ranges from -20℃ to 105℃, and the allowable inlet pressure is 0.6 MPa.

　　“DF”—denotes a single-suction, multistage, segmental corrosion-resistant centrifugal pump.

　　“25” – indicates the pump’s flow rate (m³/h).

　　“50” – indicates the single-stage head of the pump (m).

　　“5” – indicates the series.

Structural Description of the DF-Type Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Multistage Chemical Pump

The DF-type corrosion-resistant chemical pump is installed horizontally. Except for the DF155-30 model, whose inlet direction is horizontal, the suction inlets of all other models are oriented vertically upward. The discharge direction of all DF-type pumps is also vertically upward. As a standard sealing method, these pumps typically employ packing seals; however, mechanical seals can also be provided upon customer request. With the exception of the DF85-67 model, which uses sliding bearings lubricated with thin oil, and the DF155-67 model, which employs rolling bearings lubricated with thin oil, all other models utilize rolling bearings lubricated with grease. With regard to axial forces, except for the DF3-40Ⅱ model, which balances them through symmetrical impeller arrangement, the remaining models rely on balance disc mechanisms for axial force balancing.

　　Material of Main Components: The flow-path components of the pump are available in two types of materials—cast steel and cast stainless steel. When placing an order, you should carefully select the appropriate pump material, sealing type, and pump design based on the name and concentration of the conveyed medium, the inlet pressure, the operating temperature, and the degree of corrosion the material may experience.

　　Package scope: The pump and motor are supplied as a complete set, either with a common base or their own dedicated base. The manufacturer also provides accessories (including discharge cone pipes, gate valves, and check valves) and spare parts (including impellers, sealing rings, guide vane sleeves, balance discs, and shaft sleeves).

　　Structural features:

　　The DF-type corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pump adopts a D-type multistage pump structure and is divided into four main parts: the stator section, the rotor section, the sealing section, and the bearing section.

　　1. Stator Section:

　　The pump body—comprising the suction and discharge sections, the middle section, and guide vanes—is assembled by screws tightened with tie rods, thereby forming a sealed working chamber.

　　2. Rotor Section:

　　It consists of a shaft, an impeller, a shaft sleeve, and a balance disc assembly. Driven by the shaft, the impeller rotates to generate centrifugal force, thereby propelling the medium’s flow.

　　3. Bearing section:

　　It consists of a bearing housing, a bearing, and a bearing cap. The bearing serves to support the shaft and ensure its normal and stable operation.

　　4. Sealing section:

　　They are divided into packing seals and mechanical seals. Packing seals are primarily used in applications where leakage requirements are not stringent or where the medium contains solid particles. Mechanical seals, on the other hand, are suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, corrosive environments with strict leakage requirements. Both types of seals serve to seal both ends of the pump, preventing the medium inside the pump from leaking out and ensuring the pump's overall sealing performance.

Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
