The DYP-type self-balancing multistage centrifugal high-pressure oil pump is used for conveying oils and petroleum products that contain no solid particles, have a temperature below 80℃, and a viscosity of less than 120 centistokes.
The DYP-type self-balancing multistage high-pressure oil pump is an advanced multistage centrifugal pump designed to meet user needs and accelerate the development of high-pressure multistage pump technology. It features high efficiency, energy savings, and a long service life. This pump adopts an energy-efficient and highly effective hydraulic model, fundamentally changing the traditional design of multistage pumps that relied on balancing devices, thereby significantly boosting the technological advancement of high-pressure multistage pumps. Developed and manufactured in accordance with API610 standards, this innovative high-efficiency multistage centrifugal pump holds a leading position in the industry in terms of technological prowess. Its hallmark feature lies in the complete elimination of the conventional balance-disc system traditionally used to counteract axial forces—instead, the pump relies on a symmetrically arranged impeller configuration that automatically balances axial forces. This groundbreaking innovation endows multistage pumps with enhanced energy efficiency, reduced noise levels, a wide efficient operating range, broad performance capabilities, excellent cavitation resistance, safe and stable operation, fewer wear parts, convenient installation and maintenance, dramatically lower operating costs, and greatly improved reliability. The pump boasts a failure-free operating time more than three times longer than that of conventional pumps, significantly reducing users’ maintenance costs and thereby lowering the overall lifecycle cost of multistage pumps. As such, it represents a next-generation replacement for conventional multistage pumps that typically employ balance-disc or balance-drum structures.
The DY(P)-type self-balancing multistage centrifugal oil pump features an innovative structural design that departs from the conventional multistage centrifugal pump configuration. It eliminates the axial force balancing mechanism typically found in standard multistage pumps. Since this pump is devoid of a balancing device—meaning there’s neither disc friction loss associated with balance discs nor energy loss due to balance water recirculation—the self-balancing multistage pump boasts an efficiency improvement of 5% to 14% compared to similar multistage pumps. Moreover, this design completely resolves various failures—such as wear on the balance disc and its seat or rotor seizure—that often arise from the failure of traditional balancing devices, thereby significantly extending the service life of the multistage pump. Years of operational experience have demonstrated that the performance of this self-balancing multistage pump has reached the advanced level of comparable international products.

Working Principle of Self-Balancing Multistage Pumps
Driven by the motor, the shaft of the self-balancing multistage pump rotates, doing work on the liquid and increasing its energy. The liquid is continuously conveyed vertically—from the suction sump through the pump’s suction section, forward impeller, forward guide vanes, middle section, discharge nozzle, transition pipe, secondary suction section, reverse impeller, reverse guide vanes, and finally to the discharge section.

Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
