Product Overview
The DY horizontal multistage centrifugal oil pump is a high-temperature, high-pressure multistage pump specially designed for the petrochemical industry, manufactured by Lianlian Pump Industry, a leading pump manufacturer. It adopts a highly efficient and energy-saving hydraulic model recommended by national standards, offering advantages such as high efficiency, broad performance range, safe and stable operation, low noise, long service life, and convenient installation and maintenance. By modifying the pump material (or the material of the pump’s wetted parts), changing the sealing configuration, and adding a cooling system, this pump can handle hot water, oils, corrosive media, and media containing abrasive particles. The horizontal multistage oil pump is used to convey petroleum and petroleum products with a viscosity of less than 120 centistokes and free of solid particles. The medium temperature ranges from -20℃ to 150℃, and the allowable inlet pressure is 0.6 MPa.

Structural Type of DY Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Oil Pump
1) Import and export: The 100DY16 horizontal multistage centrifugal pump features horizontal suction and vertical discharge; all other multistage centrifugal pumps have vertical suction and vertical discharge.
2) Oil seals: Mechanical seals or packing seals can be used. The shaft seal is equipped with cooling.
3) Bearing Type and Lubrication: The sliding bearing with forced circulation lubrication is used in the DY850-125 pump; the sliding bearing with oil ring splash lubrication using light oil is employed in the DYⅠ85-67, DYⅠ155-67, and DYⅡ155-67 pumps. All other pumps are equipped with rolling bearings lubricated by grease.
4) Support: The DYⅡ155-67 pump is supported centrally, while the other pumps are foot-supported.
5) Rotation direction:
From the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
6) Material of main parts:
The materials for the flow passage components are: DYⅠ and DY, YD are cast iron; DYⅡ is cast steel; and DYⅢ is cast stainless steel.
7) Pump complete set scope:
Complete pump sets, including explosion-proof motors, common base or self-contained base, check valves, gate valves, and spare parts.
Structural Description of DY Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Oil Pump
1. Pump Casing Section
The casing of the multi-stage oil pump consists mainly of a bearing, a front section, a middle section, a rear section, and guide vanes, all of which are bolted together to form a single unit. The centerline of the suction inlet in the front section is horizontal, while the centerline of the discharge outlet in the rear section is perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
2. Rotor Section
The rotor assembly primarily consists of bearings, an impeller mounted on the shaft, a shaft sleeve, a balance disc, and other components. The components mounted on the shaft are secured to the shaft using flat keys and shaft sleeve nuts, ensuring they are firmly integrated with the shaft. The entire rotor is supported by bearings at both ends and is housed within the pump casing. The number of impellers in the rotor assembly is determined by the number of stages in the pump.
3. Bearing Section
The bearings used in this D-type horizontal multistage oil pump come in two types: sliding bearings and rolling bearings, depending on the model. Neither type is designed to withstand axial forces. During operation, the rotor assembly must be allowed to move axially within the pump casing; therefore, radial bearings cannot be used.
4. Pump Sealing
The sealing surfaces between the pump’s front, middle, and rear sections are all sealed with molybdenum disulfide grease. The rotor section is sealed against the stationary parts by means of sealing rings, guide vane sleeves, and packing seals. When the wear on the sealing rings and guide vane sleeves has begun to affect the pump’s operation and performance, they should be replaced promptly.
5. Balancing mechanism
The balancing mechanism consists of a balance ring, a balance disc, a balance sleeve, and other components. It is designed to counterbalance the axial forces acting on the pump. The pump is supplied as a complete set, including an explosion-proof motor, a common base or a dedicated base, a check valve, a gate valve, and spare parts.

Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
