Product Overview
SLA-type vertical single-stage double-suction Middle-open pump The vertical, single-stage, double-suction centrifugal pump with a detachable coupling is a new type of vertical double-suction pump developed by Lianlian Pump Industry—a manufacturer of double-suction pumps—based on the SA-type pump, in response to market demands. It is specially designed for industries such as urban water supply, heating, and air-conditioning refrigeration. This pump is suitable for conveying clean water free of solid particles, or liquids whose physical and chemical properties are similar to those of clean water. The temperature of the medium being conveyed ranges from 0°C to 80°C. It finds wide application in industrial and urban water supply and drainage systems, as well as in agricultural irrigation and drainage. Due to its vertical installation design, this pump helps reduce investment costs for pump houses, making it particularly popular among rural areas and municipal water plants.

SLA—Vertical Single-Stage Double-Suction Split-Casing Centrifugal Pump
9—The approximate divisor obtained by rounding the quotient of dividing the special number by 10.
J—Indicates a change in the pump’s rated speed.
A—represents the first change in the impeller outer diameter; A, B, and C follow this pattern.
Structural Features and Types of SLA Vertical Single-Stage Double-Suction Split-Casing Pumps
SLA-type double-suction pump Middle-open pump For vertical installation, both the suction port and the discharge port are oriented horizontally. The split surface between the pump body and the pump cover is vertically aligned along the axis centerline. During maintenance, there is no need to disconnect the inlet and outlet pipelines or the motor—simply lift off the pump cover to remove the rotor assembly. The pump’s upper bearing is a rolling bearing lubricated by grease, and the bearing housing is equipped with a cooling chamber. The pump’s lower bearing is a guide bearing, which is lubricated and cooled by the pump’s own water. The shaft seal comes in two types: soft packing seal and mechanical seal.
When viewed from the motor end, the rotation direction is counterclockwise. The pump can be directly connected to the motor or connected via an intermediate rotating shaft, depending on the user’s requirements. The wetted parts of the pump are made of cast iron; if required by the user, the impeller can be made of cast steel or brass, but the user must specify this when placing the order.
Rotation direction: When viewed from the motor end toward the pump, the pump rotates counterclockwise. That is, with the removable pump cover facing you, the right side is the inlet and the left side is the outlet.
Part material: The flow parts of the pump are all made of cast iron; the guide bearing is made of tin bronze, and the shaft is made of No. 45 steel.

Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
