The YW-type stainless steel submersible sewage pump is suitable for applications in the chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, mining, paper-making, cement plant, steel mill, power plant, and coal-processing industries, as well as for wastewater discharge from industrial enterprises and sewage treatment systems in urban wastewater treatment plants; drainage stations in subways, basements, and civil defense systems; sewage discharge from hospitals, hotels, and high-rise buildings; sewage pumping stations in residential areas; municipal engineering projects and construction sites for the discharge of dilute slurry; and water supply facilities at waterworks—this pump can handle sewage and waste containing particulate matter. It is also capable of pumping clean water and media with corrosive properties.
YW stainless steel sewage pumps are used for wastewater discharge in aquaculture farms and for irrigation of rural farmland. The YW submersible sewage pumps are also suitable for mining exploration and as auxiliary equipment for water treatment systems. They replace the traditional method of carrying water by shoulder or hand, enabling efficient suction and delivery of river silt. The operating conditions for YW submersible sewage pumps are: water temperature ≤ 60℃ and liquid pH range of 4 to 10.

1. The YW-type stainless steel sewage pump features a unique single- or double-blade impeller design, which significantly enhances its ability to pass through debris. It can effectively handle fibrous materials up to five times the diameter of the pump’s inlet and solid particles with diameters approximately 50% of the pump’s inlet diameter.
2. The mechanical seal is made of a new, hard, corrosion-resistant tungsten-titanium material, enabling the pump to operate safely and continuously for over 8,000 hours.
3. The overall structure is compact, small in size, low-noise, and boasts significant energy-saving performance. It’s easy to maintain and doesn’t require a pump room—simply submerge it in water to start operating, greatly reducing project costs.

5. It can be equipped with an automatic liquid-level control cabinet that automatically starts and stops the pump according to changes in the required liquid level, eliminating the need for dedicated personnel supervision and making it extremely convenient to use.

When operating, the pump body is immersed in liquid, making it easy to start up and eliminating the need for priming or vacuum evacuation. 7. The shaft coupling structure is advanced and reliable; the pump and motor are connected via a coupling. The pump shaft dimensions are highly precise, ensuring smooth pump operation and providing ample safety margins.
8. The pump is available in two installation types: single-tube and dual-tube. The supporting components come in both round-disc and square-disc designs, catering to different requirements.
Precautions for using the YW vertical stainless steel submersible sewage pump:
1. Before using the pump, carefully inspect both the pump and the motor for any damage. Also, check that all fasteners are securely tightened.
2. Manually rotate the pump to check for any friction noises. At the same time, verify the concentricity between the pump shaft and the motor shaft. The deviation of the outer circles of the two coupling halves should not exceed 0.5 mm.
3. The piping connected to the pump’s discharge port should be supported by a separate bracket; its weight must not be allowed to bear on the pump body.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the pump must be equipped with a fully automatic pump control cabinet. Never connect the pump directly to the power grid or use a knife switch to supply power. Ensure that the pump operates properly.
5. The pump must not be operated for extended periods at a low head (generally, the actual head of operation should not fall below 60% of the rated head). Ideally, the operating head should be kept within the recommended range to prevent the motor from overheating and burning out due to overload.
Instructions for Use of YW Vertical Stainless Steel Submersible Sewage Pump:
Start:
1. Start the test and verify that the motor rotation direction matches the pump requirements.
2. Close the valve and pressure gauge on the outlet pipeline.
3. Start the motor and open the pressure gauge. Slowly open the outlet pipeline valve to the desired position until the system reaches normal operation.
Parking:
1. Slowly close the outlet gate valve, stop the motor, and shut down the pressure gauge.
2. When parking for an extended period, the pump should be removed, thoroughly cleaned and reassembled, and then stored properly.
Disassembly:
1. Close the outlet valve and remove the connecting bolts from the flange.
2. Loosen the bolts on the motor base and the coupling end cover, then remove the motor.
3. Loosen the bolts securing the pump to the base, remove the pump, and rinse it with clean water to prevent oxidation.
4. Remove the base, pump body, and discharge pipe; loosen the impeller nut and take out the impeller.
5. Remove the oil chamber, the mechanical seal, the extension pipe, and the bearing housing; then take out the extended shaft.
