Product Overview
The CBF liquid-ring vacuum pump is a new-generation energy-saving vacuum pump product, typically used for extracting gases that do not contain solid particles and are either insoluble or only slightly soluble in the working fluid.
CBF series vacuum pumps provide a reliable vacuum solution for industrial processes that require stable pressure control, continuous operation, and efficient gas removal. They are suitable for applications such as vacuum drying, packaging, filtration, degassing, material handling, and various customized production systems.
Designed for practical industrial use, these pumps help maintain consistent vacuum conditions while supporting smooth equipment operation. Reliable performance can reduce process fluctuations and help manufacturers improve production stability. Their flexible application also makes them suitable for integration with different vacuum systems and production equipment.
For customers, choosing the right vacuum pump is about more than achieving a target vacuum level. Stable operation, energy efficiency, maintenance convenience, and compatibility with existing equipment are equally important. CBF series vacuum pumps provide a practical foundation for manufacturers looking to improve vacuum performance, reduce operational interruptions, and maintain consistent production results.

Working principle of the CBF liquid-ring vacuum pump:
Adopts a unique single-eccentric design.
The impeller in the CBF vacuum pump series features an upper eccentric design, which ensures the effective formation of a sealing ring while simultaneously reducing energy losses during liquid transfer. As a result, it is one of the most efficient vacuum pumps in the high-vacuum pump product line.
The impeller adopts a semi-open structure, with a reinforced disk in the middle and reinforced rings on both sides. This design effectively ensures the strength of the vacuum pump impeller.
By employing computer simulation design technology, the two-phase flow field inside the CBF series vacuum pumps is visualized in three dimensions, ensuring that the flow passages of the CBF series vacuum pumps better conform to hydraulic characteristics.
The CBF vacuum pump series features a simple design— the entire vacuum pump has only one rotating component—the impeller—ensuring long-term, safe, and reliable operation of the pump.
Simple maintenance: The entire CBF vacuum pump series can be serviced without opening the vacuum pump itself—this has been factored into the design. This is because the CBF series vacuum pumps have remarkably few wear parts; for instance, to replace the valve plates, you simply need to open the inspection cover. Both packing and shaft sleeves can be replaced from outside the vacuum pump.
Since the CBF vacuum pump series employs a single-stage impeller that compresses and discharges gas in one step, the heat generated by the vacuum pump is immediately and effectively dissipated, significantly reducing the heat transfer process within the pump. As a result, the operating water temperature of the vacuum pump is effectively lowered, making it less prone to cavitation. This also greatly enhances the efficiency of the vacuum pump.
The impeller of the CBF series high-vacuum pump is manufactured using a casting process, which effectively ensures that the vacuum pump blades meet the requirement of varying thickness and features a smooth, 45-degree rounded transition at the root of the impeller—thus better aligning with hydraulic characteristics.
The impeller of the CBF series low-vacuum pump is manufactured using a welding process, which effectively ensures the impeller meets the required strength and service life standards.
The small-size CBF vacuum pump series features an integral packing gland, while the large-size vacuum pumps adopt a split-structure design for convenient maintenance.
The small-size CBF vacuum pump series does not have a shaft sleeve, while the large-size vacuum pumps are equipped with shaft sleeves to protect the shaft’s safety.
The small-size CBF vacuum pump series features dual diagonal bearings, while the large-size vacuum pumps employ a rolling bearing and thrust bearing configuration to prevent axial movement in the pump.
The bearing housing of the CBF vacuum pump series features a thrust spring structure to prevent axial movement of the vacuum pump.
The CBF vacuum pump series features a set of adjustment shims on the non-drive side, allowing the axial clearance of the vacuum pump to be adjusted as needed.
The wheels and shafts in the CBF vacuum pump series are installed using a unique thermal expansion method, ensuring that the vacuum pump does not experience axial movement (traditional methods rely on keyway connections, which are prone to axial movement).
The flat distribution plates used in the CBF vacuum pump series are precision-machined to ensure smooth fluid flow. (In the conical distributor structure, the flow passages are non-machined surfaces, which increase resistance—this is the primary reason why vacuum pumps with a conical structure have lower efficiency.)
The inlet and outlet ports of the CBF vacuum pump series are both machined on milling machines, ensuring smooth flow through the critical passages.
The CBF vacuum pump series is equipped with an automatic drain valve, ensuring that the vacuum pump will not overload due to excessively high water levels.
The CBF vacuum pump series features flexible inlet and outlet port configurations, allowing for easy implementation of top exhaust or side exhaust—depending on user requirements.
The CBF vacuum pump series features a flexible valve plate at its exhaust port, which can automatically adjust the intake and exhaust angles of the vacuum pump, thereby preventing overload during startup.
The small-size CBF vacuum pump series uses a pull-rod connection, while the large-size CBF vacuum pump series employs a flange connection, ensuring the overall structural integrity of the vacuum pumps.
The CBF vacuum pump series can be equipped with either packing seals or mechanical seals (single or double mechanical faces) according to user requirements, thereby ensuring the vacuum pump’s tightness.
The CBF vacuum pump series will undergo static balance testing on a standard static balancing test bench. This method involves adding weight inside the hub (while removing weight or adding weight externally would both alter fluid characteristics); as a result, the vibration of the vacuum pump will be reduced to a minimum.
The flow-path components feature an optimized hydraulic design, delivering significant energy savings within an intake vacuum range of 200 to 1013 hPa. The exhaust port, equipped with a flexible valve plate, automatically adjusts the exhaust volume, effectively preventing over-compression during the exhaust process and ensuring smooth operation of the pump across its entire pumping range. The pump body and side cover are connected via flanged joints, providing a robust structure that facilitates convenient horizontal disassembly and assembly. The side cover is fitted with an inspection window, allowing for easy internal component checks without having to disassemble the pump. When the pump body is equipped with a baffle, a single pump can handle different vacuum levels. Additionally, the pump is fitted with an automatic drain valve that precisely controls the liquid level at startup.
Application areas of the CBF series vacuum pumps:
Paper industry: Vacuum dewatering Petrochemical industry: Vacuum distillation Tobacco industry: Vacuum conveying Gas separation: Pressure swing adsorption
Coal Industry: Coal Washing and Dewatering, Gas Extraction Metal Mining: Ore Dressing and Dewatering Food Industry: Vacuum Conveying Power Industry: Negative-Pressure Dust Removal

Q
What is your typical delivery time?
A
Models in stock can be shipped the next day at the latest. All others are custom-made, with lead times generally ranging from 7 to 90 days depending on the product size and project specifics. Please contact our sales manager for details: 0731-88632200 。
Q
Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?
A
Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.
Q
What information should I provide when requesting a quote?
A
Generally, to obtain an accurate quotation, we recommend providing us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage and frequency, temperature, pH value, and solid particle content of the fluid being conveyed, and on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), etc.
If you are not sure, don't worry, our business managers will assist you in determining this.
Q
What products do you mainly produce?
A
Zhonglian Pump Industry manufactures various large industrial centrifugal pumps. Main products include: self-balancing multi-stage pumps, multi-stage centrifugal pumps, single-stage centrifugal pumps, split-case pumps, chemical pumps, submersible pumps, pipeline pumps, long-shaft pumps, condensate pumps, etc.
Q
Why is it so slow to get a price quote?
A
Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard customized products with many models, the price range is also very large. Even for the same model, the price difference is also very large due to different materials and configurations. Taking the most common water pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clarify the relevant information to give you an accurate price. Normally, if you provide relatively comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.
