Product Overview

The WF-type variable-frequency water supply equipment without negative pressure introduces tap water from the municipal water network into a constant-flow balancing device (negative-pressure-free constant-flow tank). When the speed controller detects that the pressure inside the constant-flow balancing device (negative-pressure-free constant-flow tank) is positive, it starts the pump and continuously adjusts the pump speed according to the water consumption—specifically, based on the feedback from the pump outlet pressure—until the pump runs at a constant speed at a predetermined pressure level.

Under normal conditions when the municipal water supply network is operating properly, the pressure inside the constant-flow balancer (negative-pressure-free constant-flow tank) should be equal to the pressure in the municipal water supply network and vary accordingly with fluctuations in network pressure. However, during peak water consumption periods, if the municipal water supply network cannot provide sufficient water volume, and the inflow into the constant-flow balancer (negative-pressure-free constant-flow tank) fails to meet the outflow requirements, a vacuum—or negative pressure—may develop inside the balancer. This manifests as an interface between water and air within the balancer. At this point, the vacuum suppressor activates to prevent the formation of a vacuum, thereby ensuring that the constant-flow balancer does not enter a siphon state relative to the water supply network. On the other hand, to eliminate the air layer inside the balancer and restore the working pressure within the constant-flow balancer (negative-pressure-free constant-flow tank), the pump switches from constant-speed operation to reduced-speed operation, balancing the inflow and outflow rates of the balancer and maintaining a minimum flow rate for water supply. Once the working pressure inside the constant-flow balancer returns to normal, the pump resumes its previous operating mode. In this way, even during moments when negative pressure occurs, the system continues to provide uninterrupted water supply—unless there is a failure in the municipal water supply network that causes the balancer to run dry, at which point the pump immediately shuts down. The system is equipped with an EPS emergency power supply that automatically kicks in when the mains power is lost, ensuring continuous water supply for at least 30 minutes.

Product Parameters

Structure of the WF-type non-negative-pressure variable-frequency water supply equipment:

The WF-type non-negative-pressure secondary water supply equipment mainly consists of a microcomputer-based variable-frequency control cabinet, PLC and human-machine interface (touch screen), pump units, constant-flow compensator, vacuum suppressor, various high-sensitivity sensors, assorted pipe fittings, valves, and other components. Product features:

1. The WF-type non-negative-pressure water supply equipment can directly introduce water from the municipal tap water network into high-rise residential buildings, eliminating the need for low-level reservoirs and high-level water tanks in the intermediate process—meaning clean water is delivered directly to households.

2. When used in conjunction with fire-fighting pressure tanks, negative-pressure water supply equipment—provided it complies with fire safety regulations—can gradually eliminate the need for low-level reservoirs and high-level water tanks. This not only saves on cleaning and disinfection costs but also delivers significant energy- and water-saving benefits.

3. The entire non-negative-pressure water supply equipment is made of stainless steel, which is non-toxic, harmless, corrosion-free, clean, and hygienic. It features low noise levels, helping to improve the surrounding environment, and is an environmentally friendly, energy-saving product.

4. The operation of the non-negative-pressure water supply equipment is monitored and automatically controlled by a computer, featuring functions such as variable-frequency pump cycling, soft start at power frequency, constant-pressure variable-flow water supply, rapid elimination of negative pressure, pipeline network protection, fault alarms, and communication capabilities.

5. The non-negative-pressure water supply equipment features stable operation, high safety and reliability, requires no on-site personnel supervision, and boasts simple operation, convenient maintenance, and low operating costs.

6. The negative-pressure-free water supply equipment employs advanced negative-pressure prevention control technology, ensuring that under any circumstances it will not have any adverse impact on the municipal water supply network while simultaneously guaranteeing a continuous and stable water supply.

Application scope of WF-type non-negative-pressure variable-frequency water supply equipment:

1. Application scenarios for the renovation, upgrading, and expansion of secondary water supply systems in existing high-rise residential communities, apartments, office buildings, commercial offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other high-rise structures.

2. Application scenarios for updating the secondary water supply system design in high-rise residential communities, apartments, office buildings, commercial offices, hotels and restaurants, hospitals, and other high-rise structures currently under construction or slated for future construction.

3. For high-rise buildings, applications requiring differentiated water supply (i.e., separate water supplies for domestic use, fire protection, and toilet flushing).

4. For applications in high-rise buildings where low-level water tanks and high-level water towers are eliminated as water supply systems.

5. In cases where the water quality supplied by the existing secondary water supply system fails to meet standards.

Comparison between WF-type variable-frequency water supply equipment with no negative pressure and traditional secondary water supply systems:

Traditionally, high-rise buildings have relied on secondary water supply systems that typically employ low-level reservoirs, high-level water tanks, and pressure tanks. However, since these reservoirs and tanks are prone to “secondary water contamination,” long-term consumption of such water can adversely affect people’s health. Therefore, the most effective way to improve water quality in high-rise residential buildings and raise their health standards—thus fundamentally eliminating “secondary water contamination”—is to eliminate low-level reservoirs and high-level water tanks altogether.

The fully automatic, non-negative-pressure water supply equipment is a newly developed product by our company. It’s a fully automatic, pressurized, constant-flow water supply system that integrates advanced microprocessor control technology, variable-frequency speed regulation technology, and stable-flow anti-negative-pressure technology. This system is widely suitable for secondary water supply in high-rise buildings without any pollution.

The negative-pressure-free water supply equipment adopts a non-polluting, pressurized steady-flow water supply system that directly delivers tap water into households—this approach, popular in European and American countries, is known as the “clean water to every home” project, enabling residents of high-rise buildings to drink clean, pure tap water directly. Zhikang’s fully automatic water supply equipment is a complete secondary water supply system that can be directly connected to the municipal tap water network without exerting any adverse effects on it. It can replace traditional low-level reservoirs and high-level water tanks, making full use of the pressure in the municipal tap water network to deliver water directly, thereby avoiding “secondary water contamination” and ensuring that the water quality meets national drinking water standards. At the same time, this system helps save on construction investment, reduce electricity consumption, conserve water, and lower operation and management costs.

Q

What is your typical delivery time?

A

Models in stock can be shipped the next day at the latest. All others are custom-made, with lead times generally ranging from 7 to 90 days depending on the product size and project specifics. Please contact our sales manager for details: 0731-88632200 。

Q

Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

A

Centrifugal pumps come in numerous models and configurations. Except for a small number of high-volume, standard models that are in stock, the vast majority are not stocked and are customized products. We need to select a pump based on your site's flow rate, head, media temperature, pH value, and installation conditions, etc., to determine the pump model and configuration before we can submit an order to the factory for production.

Q

What information should I provide when requesting a quote?

A

Generally, to obtain an accurate quotation, we recommend providing us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage and frequency, temperature, pH value, and solid particle content of the fluid being conveyed, and on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), etc.

If you are not sure, don't worry, our business managers will assist you in determining this.

Q

What products do you mainly produce?

A

Zhonglian Pump Industry manufactures various large industrial centrifugal pumps. Main products include: self-balancing multi-stage pumps, multi-stage centrifugal pumps, single-stage centrifugal pumps, split-case pumps, chemical pumps, submersible pumps, pipeline pumps, long-shaft pumps, condensate pumps, etc.

Q

Could you help me with the selection?

A

Certainly! If the water pump model is not selected accurately, there will be big problems. If you choose a smaller one, it won't meet your needs; if you choose a larger one, it will waste electricity and fuel, increasing your costs.

Q

Why is it so slow to get a price quote?

A

Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard customized products with many models, the price range is also very large. Even for the same model, the price difference is also very large due to different materials and configurations. Taking the most common water pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clarify the relevant information to give you an accurate price. Normally, if you provide relatively comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.
