　　The ZW non-clogging self-priming sewage pump is a novel, structurally innovative sewage pumping product developed successfully by Lian Pump Industry—a sewage pump manufacturer—based on repeated research into the technologies of similar domestic and foreign products. This pump integrates both self-priming and non-clogging sewage discharge functions. It adopts an axial reflux design and features a unique internal structure of the pump body and impeller flow passages, enabling it to operate like a conventional self-priming clear-water pump without the need for a foot valve or priming water. At the same time, it can effectively handle sewage containing large solid particles and long-fiber impurities that might otherwise cause blockages. The ZW self-priming sewage pump is also known as a solid-liquid pump or a debris pump. Like conventional self-priming pumps, it does not require the installation of a foot valve, yet it can efficiently pump and discharge sewage containing large solid chunks, long fibers, sediments, mining waste residues, fecal matter, and all kinds of industrial wastewater. It finds wide application in municipal sewage treatment projects, aquaculture effluent treatment in ponds and lakes, sedimentation of mining waste residues, and as a versatile debris pump for industries including light industry, papermaking, food processing, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, power generation, pulp and paper, and other chemical processes involving impurities.

　　1. Ambient temperature ≤ 50℃; medium temperature ≤ 80℃; special requirements allow up to 200℃.

　　2. For ZW-type self-priming sewage pumps, the pH range of the medium is 6–9 for cast iron materials and 2–13 for stainless steel.

　　3. The medium density of the ZW-type self-priming sewage pump shall not exceed 1240 kg/m³.

　　4. The self-priming, non-clogging sewage pump of the ZW type has a maximum self-priming height that cannot exceed the specified value of 4.5 to 5.5 meters, and the length of the suction pipe must be ≤10 meters.

　　5. The ZW self-priming, non-clogging sewage pump can handle suspended particles with diameters up to 60% of the pump’s diameter and fibers with lengths up to five times the pump’s diameter.

　　The ZW self-priming sewage pump mainly consists of a pump body, an impeller, a rear cover, a mechanical seal, a pump shaft, a bearing housing, an inlet valve, a gas-liquid separation pipe, a water-injection valve, and inlet and outlet pipes. The pump’s structure is shown in the figure.

　　The working principle of the ZW self-priming sewage pump is as follows: The pump body is equipped with a liquid storage chamber, which is connected to the pump’s working chamber via an upper return port and a lower circulation port, forming an axial-flow external-mixing system. After the pump stops running, a certain volume of liquid remains stored in the pump’s internal cavity. When the pump starts up, the liquid stored in the cavity, aided by the impeller, is thrown upward along with air. The liquid then flows back into the working chamber through the mesh of the gas-liquid separation tube, while the gas is discharged from the pump, creating a certain degree of vacuum inside the pump and thus achieving self-priming.

　　The ZW self-priming, non-clogging sewage pump is suitable for applications including the discharge of heavily polluted wastewater from industrial and commercial facilities, sewage pumping stations in residential areas, drainage systems at municipal wastewater treatment plants, drainage stations in civil defense systems, water supply equipment at waterworks, sewage disposal in hospitals and hotels, construction sites for municipal engineering projects, auxiliary equipment for mining operations, rural biogas digesters, agricultural irrigation systems, and other industries. This pump can handle sewage containing solid particles and debris, as well as clean water and media with mild corrosivity.

Usage steps for the ZW self-priming, non-clogging sewage discharge pump:

　　1. Before use, check whether the pump’s rotation direction is correct and whether its rotation is smooth.

　　2. Unscrew the liquid-filling screw plug located on the top of the self-priming, non-clogging sewage pump body, fill the reservoir completely with liquid, and then tighten the screw plug securely. Thereafter, no further liquid needs to be added when starting the pump. Do not start the pump if the reservoir is insufficiently filled; otherwise, the pump may fail to operate properly and the mechanical seal could easily be damaged.

　　3. When starting a self-priming sewage pump, first open the outlet flow control valve to facilitate the discharge of air during the self-priming process. After the pump has started, adjust the opening of the outlet flow control valve so that the pressure gauge reading falls within the specified range (refer to the pressure control range table for various pump models). Avoid operating the pump at or below the lower limit of the specified range to prevent motor overload and burnout due to excessive shaft power, or cavitation caused by excessively high flow rates, which could disrupt normal pump operation, induce severe vibration, and generate noise.

　　4. During operation, regularly check the temperature rise of both the pump and the motor. If you notice any noise or other abnormal sounds, stop the machine immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before restarting it.

　　5. When shutting down the pump, first close the outlet flow control valve and then stop the pump to prevent insufficient liquid storage in the pump body due to siphonage.

　　6. Perform regular refueling and maintenance. If the pump is to be left unused for an extended period, disassemble it, clean it, apply lubricant, and store it properly.
